Julio Foolio's Alleged Killers Plead Not Guilty

Julio Foolio‘s alleged killers have pleaded not guilty to murdering the rapper though a fifth suspect remains at large from police.

Foolio was shot to death in June while celebrating his 26th birthday while three of his friends were also wounded in the incident.

It did not take long for three suspects to be round up by cops with Isaiah Chance, Alicia Andrews, and Sean Gathright arrested in July in connection with the murder.

Rashad Murphy, a fourth suspect, was arrested just days later.

Chance, Andrews and Gathright all pled not guilty to murder at their arraignment in Tampa while Murphy will go before a judge next month once he has been transferred.

A fifth suspect, Davion Murphy, remains at large despite a police search for the alleged killer.

Gathright was allegedly involved in a prior attempt on Foolio’s life when he was shot in October last year.

According to local news outlet News4Jax, police found Gathright with shell casings from a gun related to the October attack which saw Foolio shot in the foot.

Gathright was arrested as part of the investigation into Foolio’s murder during a traffic stop where cops found a 9mm pistol, a rifle and nine spent cartridge casings from the larger gun.

The police claim the casings match those found in two previous shootings – a homicide from May this year and the October 2023 shooting of Foolio.

When raiding Gathright’s house, police also found what is known as a brass catcher, a device used to prevent shell casings from being left where they are fired.

Police have claimed that all five suspects traveled from Jacksonville to Tampa to kill Foolio and followed him around the city as he was celebrating his 26th birthday.
