Moneybagg Yo has revealed that he has finally landed the missing piece to his upcoming album Speak Now, for which he’s also announced a new release date.
The Memphis rapper made both announces in an all-caps post on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday (May 23), just one day before the album’s original release date.
“Just Got A Crazyyyyy Feature In I Couldn’t Drop This Project Without Now Everything Locked In Fasho sho Its Worth Da Wait (looking emoji, lock emoji, fire emoji.”
He then proceeded that Speak Now will hit stores and streaming platforms on June 14.
Earlier this month, Moneybagg Yo officially announced his new album, Speak Now, which will arrive on May 24.
In an Instagram post unveiling its cover art, Bagg wrote: “To Every Action There’s A Reaction, Timing Is Everything And Information Is Power Im In Raw Form Aint No Cut On This Shit This For My Day 1 Core Fan Base The Ones Who Was There Since The Beginning !!”
He added: “ALBUM : SPEAK NOW DDROPPED ON : 5.24.24.”
While he has now shared the album’s cover twice, the rapper has yet to share a track list or reveal any potential guest features or producer contributions.
Speak Now will serve as Moneybagg Yo’s fifth studio album following 2021’s A Gangsta’s Pain, and first full-length release since last year’s Hard To Love mixtape.
Both projects made a splash on the charts, peaking at No. 1 and No. 10 on the Billboard 200, respectively.
